Development and piloting of green energy-based smart bus stop lighting prototypes
Solintel OÜ will develop the green technology project “Development and piloting of green energy-based smart bus stop lighting prototypes” in 2024–2026. The goal is to create a hybrid-powered (wind + solar) autonomous lighting solution suitable for rural bus stops.
As a result of the project, the technology will be further developed in the laboratory phase into real and ready-to-use prototype solutions.
The project is funded by the Environmental Investment Centre from the European Union’s Next Generation EU recovery instrument. The total cost of the project is 238,750 euros.

Development project for a smart hybrid street light powered by solar and wind energy
During the period 10.03.2022 – 31.05.2023, OÜ Solintel carried out the “Development project for a smart hybrid street light powered by autonomous/networked solar and wind energy. The project will develop and test innovative hybrid-powered (battery-solar-wind) street lights. The project is supported by the European Regional Development Fund. The amount of the project is 50,000 euros.
Autonomous and smart street light development project
During the period 22.02.2021 - 30.09.2021, OÜ Solintel carried out the "Autonomous and smart street light development project". As a result of the project, an innovative autonomous and smart street light will be developed and tested, the low investment cost and low running costs of which ensure global competitiveness. The solution being developed can be easily and quickly installed in difficult-to-reach places and/or where the necessary infrastructure (electricity grid) is lacking. The luminaire being developed is also compatible with the "smart city network". The project is supported by the European Regional Development Fund. The amount of the project is 50,000 euros.
